Postpartum
The postpartum period, or the fourth trimester as it is often called, will take place after the birth of your baby. Its the period of time in which you’ll be getting to know your baby (at last!) and will be learning first hand about how to care for your newborn. It’s also the time in which many parents find themselves overwhelmed by a love they never knew was possible, and yet more exhausted than they’ve ever been.
For many, the days following birth can feel surreal, emotional, overwhelming, tear-filled, and draining. Even if this isn’t your first child, learning how to navigate having more than one little to care for can be a lot for anyone to handle! Family Tree Doula Services provides whole-family support and we’re here to provide in the ways you need it most day or night.
